This policy explains how Warderobe uses cookies and similar storage on the website at warderobe.app. The Warderobe mobile apps do not use browser cookies; they use device storage to keep you signed in.
Your current preference: No choice recorded yet. Change cookie settings.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. They let the site remember things between page loads. “Similar storage” includes localStorage, sessionStorage, and IndexedDB — modern alternatives we use for the same purposes.
2. Categories we use
Essential — always on
Required for the service to work. Without these you cannot sign in or use Warderobe.
- Firebase Authentication token (keeps you signed in across page loads).
- Your cookie consent preference (so we do not show the banner every visit).
- CSRF / security tokens used by Firebase.
Functional — optional
Remember preferences that are convenient but not strictly required.
- Theme preference (light/dark, if we add it later).
- Language preference.
Analytics — optional
Anonymous usage statistics that help us see what features are used and where the product is breaking. Warderobe is not currently running analytics. If we add it, we will use a privacy-respecting tool and your choice here will apply automatically.
Marketing — optional
Used to measure ad campaigns and reach people who would like Warderobe. We are not currently running any marketing trackers.
3. Third-party cookies
We do not embed third-party advertising trackers. Google Firebase sets cookies that fall under the essential category to maintain your session.
If you visit a Paddle checkout page during a web subscription purchase, Paddle may set their own cookies for fraud prevention and to remember your purchase. See Paddle's Privacy Notice.
4. Your choices
- Use the banner at the bottom of the page on your first visit to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
- Change your mind any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
- You can also clear cookies from your browser settings. If you clear the cookie that stores your sign-in token, you will be signed out.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is no agreed standard, so we do not currently respond to DNT. We treat the consent you give in our banner as authoritative.
6. Changes
We will update this policy when our cookie practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version.
